Homemade Pizza--Yummm
We have family cooking night on Friday Nights. Tonight's menu: Homemade Pizza. The little ones put on their aprons and got their hands all dirty with cheese, pepperoni and pizza dough. Aimee and Liam had as much fun eating the ingredients as they did making the pizza, but Reilly was taking his job seriously and completed one whole pizza himself :-) Once dinner is cooked, we usually have a "Picnic" on the family room floor, complete with big picnic blanket! We watch a movie together while we have our picnic.

Good Morning!!
Mimosa!
On May 27th we picked-up our sweet little kitten who was all of 8 weeks old. Her name is Mimosa, and the kids call here Mimo for short. She's super playful, and destined to be an awesome 'Mouse Hunter." Right now, she's too little to hunt mice, but, she's hunting all sorts of kids toys and has already found several missing 'treasures' that the kids have lost behind the couch and under their beds. :-)
The Glover Gang's Garden~ 2010
This year, I was determined to plant a garden....no matter where we were! The new house has a perfect garden plot, already framed and full of weeds--I mean dirt :-) The kids and I grew most of our veggies from seeds, and it was such an amazing experience to see them take care of the little seeds! They woke up every morning and checked each tiny pot for new growth...and carefully told me when they needed water and sunlight.
In the beginning, it was all *WEEDING*--because the garden had been neglected. But it's shaping up nicely.
So far, I've planted 7 types of Heirloom Tomatos (GMO Free, of course!) including some yellow and orange pear tomatos---yummo! Watermelon, Burp-less English Cucumber, 4 types of squash, 3 types of pumpkins for the kids, Okra, Peppers, Sunflowers, Marigolds and Alyssum.
